A look at Bones littlest cast member: Ty Panitz

by

He may be the littlest cast member, but he sure it a cutie! We don’t get to see much of him as Parker - Agent Booth’s son - due to his parent’s lack of marriage and visitation rights, but he most definitely plays a big part in who Booth is.

There’s no question that Booth’s world revolves around his son, or that he would do anything to protect him - or that he would absolutely slaughter anyone who would hurt him. But who is this little force-to-be-reckoned with? Parker is played by Ty Panitz, a 9-year-old from California. He’s been in the business long enough to rack up a nice co-star list of his own! Besides playing alongside the cast of Bones, he’s also been in the movie Because I Said So opposite Dianne Keaton, Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham, and Setphen Collins just to name a few. He also credits a role in Yours, Mine and Ours opposite Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo.

A big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he’s just like any other kid his age. He’s into swimming, riding his bike, and playing sports like soccer and football. Except, he just happens to be on the Hollywood track. He’s got a supporting role in an upcoming Indie movie The Boy in the Box. Sounds kind of like an episode of Bones, doesn’t it? IMDB’s description sounds even more like it, only without the expert forensic team to solve the case.

A detective deals with the loss of his own son while trying to uncover the identity of a boy whose mummified remains are found in a box buried for fifty years.

I would guess we’ll be seeing more of this little guy as time goes by. Hopefully, as we’ve been promised a little more storyline on Booth’s family and background we’ll get to see more of him in Bones as well!

About Watching Bones

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones? Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints? at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
