A look at the Bones’ group dynamics
Okay, Humpty-Dumpty isn’t who I would have compared the character of Temperance Brennan to, but we’ll go with it. Emily Deschanel said recently in an interview that her character Bones is “very flawed in odd ways, but there’s something admirable… in her attempt to move forward and put herself back together, like Humpty Dumpty.?
As the article goes on to talk about the show, it’s ironic and very true that the executive producer points out that the characters Bones and Booth “think they have got close in a brotherly-sisterly type way, but they are the only ones who are unaware of the sexual tension between them.? (Although I can’t imagine how the characters themselves can’t feel the attraction, but I guess that’s part of the whole “building up the relationship a little at a time? thing…)
As fans, we’re also promised to see the continuation of the Bones/Booth relationship, as they clash, experience jealousy, hate, humor, love, respect, and the ultimate bond that they share. Just hope that bond eventually takes us somewhere, although I have to admit that the trip so far has been a good one!
