Baby Stewie on Bones!

When I first read about this week’s guest star online a few weeks ago, I didn’t believe it. Even after seeing it on a few reputable sources, I was still hesitant to believe it. Call me skeptical. But it’s true, and this week, our honored guest star is none other than baby Stewie Griffin from Family Guy!

The episode The Critic in the Cabernet will be one of a kind for Bones. Before you question whether or not the writers of Bones have lost their minds, rest assured that his presence isn’t some strange plot twist. Booth is suffering from an undiagnosed illness and is hallucinating Stewie. One has to wonder if the baby’s appearance has anything to do with Booth’s unconscious attempt at working through Bones’s request to father her child.

Stephen Nathan said that “Stewie actually does give Booth some good advice [about Bone's request]… in the manner only he could.” He said “this was written for Seth MacFarland [the voice of Stewie] and he just gave us gold…improvising and ad-libbing. He was terrific.”

I can’t wait to see it - even if I don’t watch Family Guy! Although I’m loving Seth’s commercials for Hulu…

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones� Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints� at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
