Body without Bones episode
Wow. This was a great episode. Okay, so all Bones episodes are good, but this one was really something else. The storyline with the actual murder was good, but the sideline of Sulley’s ‘popping the question’ to Bones was where it was really at. When he asked her to go with him for a year-long sailing trip, and everyone advised her to go - including Booth - I was really tempted to want to see her go. Sadly to say, I really like Sulley. Besides the fact that he is coming in between the possible Bones/Booth relationship, he’s a good guy and he’s easy to like! Even Booth can’t help but encourage Bones to continue her relationship with him.
But, one of the things that I liked so well about this episode was when Bones asked Booth what he thought she should do and he responded in a very uncomfortable manner. It was so obvious that he didn’t want to tell her to go, that he wanted to tell her to stay, but he didn’t. And later, when Bones watched Sulley leave and Booth showed up, well, let’s just say it was more than a friendly gesture, although there was nothing openly romantic about it either. You know what I mean.
I can’t wait to see what these two say when Booth’s therapist confront them with their feelings for each other!
