Bones promo shot
Funny how some things go completely unnoticed and others - not so much. Here’s one of many promo shots for the new season of Bones, and while I enjoyed the pic a lot, there have been a lot of comments on the same shot over at Obsessed with Bones. Things like Emily Deschanel, while lovely, is not in character for this shot - why would Bones be in an evening gown and heels? And why are they in the park - with a dog? Who’s dog? Booth’s? Booth’s son’s? (Someone pointed out that there’s an upcoming episode that involves dogs, so maybe that’s what the dog is all about…)
Also, what happened to Booth’s shoe?
It’s a good shot, and a lot of fun, and I guess the point is that it’s just a promo shot of the actors, maybe not such a great representation of the characters or the show. The shot of David and Emily “dancing” with the skeletons was probably a better image for that purpose… although Emily’s still in the evening dress and heels, but somehow the skeletons detract from that a little… But what did you think about it?

she is smiling yet leaning away from him, intresting body language there.
and what is he holding in his hand behind the dogs head? funny thing is it looks like one of those canned laughter we had when we were kids. yeah I know, I was reaching there, haha.
