Continued TV Guide interview on TV.com

by

As much as I wanted to buy a recent issue of TV Guide due to the “exclusive cover story on Bones, I just couldn’t justify buying it for only one article. However, TV.com has an addition to the article that you really shouldn’t miss. They talk about Booth having a nervous breakdown, which really got my attention, the relationship between Bones and Booth and whether it will happen for real or just in a “daydream or “dream sequence (I hope not, that’s a really cheesy way to get around it), and why fans seem to really dislike Cam so much.

Something else they touch on, and I really wish they’d go more in-depth about, is th “Angelator that they use on the show to re-create the victims. Apparently this is based on real technology and isn’t entirely outlandish. I’d like to know more about the real thing! Of course, they don’t tell you anything about it except that they’re really expensive – duh – and that they got their idea from a machine that specifically works with weather forecasts. Not so exciting as the dead-people reconstruction, but hey, whatever.

And, oddly enough, apparently the biggest “goofballs on the set are TJ Thyne and David Boreanaz! Never would have thought… That and seeing Emily Deschanel burst into song isn’t something I’d have predicted either, although I can totally see Eric Millegan doing just that. And his Micheal Jackson impression? Oh that we could see a clip of that on YouTube!

About Watching Bones

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
