David Boreanaz’s interview with Bonnie Hunt
Here’s a video of David Boreanaz on the Bonnie Hunt Show. He comes out dressed very old Hollywood - very attractive in his suit, but in a laid-back kind of way. I’m not sure about David’s dating advice for finding the right person - telling Bonnie something about how she should be loose and maybe she’d get lucky… Seems to me I agree with Bonnie about the idea of being “loose,” it may lead to someone getting lucky, but doesn’t always mean you’ll be hooking up with Mr. Right!
He talks about his early high school years, his family, and he applauds stay at home moms, saying that its a tough job - hurray for you David! (Of course he then goes on to say that they just don’t know what it’s like out there - in the “real world” - hmmm…. Should I rescind the Hurray?) We also get a really great story of his son wanting to get the “cracker” at communion and how he’s starting Catholic School to study and be able to get his own cracker!
I love the explanation they give of how being raised Catholic helps them to be actors - how they’ve learned to act happy and how all their repressed guilt affects them. Never knew that about Catholics - the things you learn!
I also really enjoy how David talks more about his family, especially his dad, since growing up with a dad on TV had to really affect his childhood. The interview is really cute - and like Bonnie said, he’s cut and funny - his wife is very lucky!
