David Boreanaz Talks

David recently had a full spread all to his beautiful self in TV Guide.

David talks about the ongoing Booth/Bones relationship, whether or not they will “wait,” the ongoing story arc about the serial killer, and his movie Our Lady of Victory. As always, David is charming and to the point. There’s even a sidebar that addresses his crazy socks. Apparently they’re all his own socks, worn from his personal sock-drawer at home. What is it about David that he can pull off wearing socks like that? I know so many guys that I would just kind of look at them funny if they wore something that, um, colorful…

I love the confidence that comes across from David. In the article he says, “I’ve never been one to question my talent. If this show goes away, I’ll be working on another one.” I guess he’s certainly got the fans to follow him from one show to another - I’m living proof as I followed him from Buffy to Angel, and now to Bones. I have to admit, I probably wouldn’t have given the show a second thought without his name being in it… how glad I am that I did!

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones� Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints� at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
