Did Iron Man rip off Angela?
I absolute loved the movie Iron Man. Oddly enough, I went to see it with my mom and sister - it was the only one we could all agree on for some reason. However that worked out, it was awesome. I’ve always waffled on my opinion of Robert Downey Jr., but this movie may have just converted me for good. Anyway, I could go on and on about the movie, but that’s not what this post is supposed to be about…
Okay, so what’s the relevance to Bones? Well, I probably would have never noticed it myself, but TV Guide’s Rochell D. Thomas brought up an interesting question in one of her recent articles. Don’t worry, if you haven’t seen the movie but still want to, this won’t ruin anything for you. (And if you haven’t seen it and don’t plan to, I highly recommend you rethink that decision.)
Thomas pointed out that in the designing and production of the Iron Man suit, “the same 3-D, holographic computer imaging table that squint Angela Montenegro “created” for the Medic-Legal Lab on Bones” is used. Hmmm, very interesting. Now I’ll have to re-watch the movie just to see Angela’s creation in action!

Interesting point. But it is also the kind of table used in Star Wars to deliver a message form the Princess and Return of the Jedi to display the Death Star Plans. I guess it’s true. “Everything old is new again.”
