Emily Deschanel works the bandage dress
Huh? That was my first thought when I read about Emily Deschanel at the Herve Leger Show. Well, that and “who’s Herve Leger?” So, armed with my trusty google search, I found out that Leger is actually a designer well known for the bandage dress. Okay, so here we go to google the bandage dress. Sounds kind of cheesey, but it turned out to be pretty neat - if you have a perfect figure, that is.
However, as we all know, Emily fits the bill and she wears the dress beautifully. Here she is at the show - too bad they couldn’t take a photo that showed the whole dress… although I guess this way we get the benefit of a close up.

Apparently Leger was a big deal this year at Fashion Week, since he’s been “off the fashion scene for more than 10 years.” But he’s reworked his bandage dress style and is making a hit. Emily was joined by other stars such as Rose McGowan, Mandy Moore, and Sophia Bush just to name a few. And, in classic Emily style, she remained ever-conscious of world events even while she was having fun. Emily made a point to schedule her plans so that she could be back home in time to vote! Also, ever classy, Emily refused to say who she supported. “I don’t want to get into how I made that decision,” she was quoted as saying at the show. Good for you Emily!
