Interview with TJ at Popgurls

tjtynes.jpg Can you see TJ Thyne’s character Hodgins as “a guy who always wears shorts and flip-flops,” and “who has glasses that make him look like a bug”? Yeah, neither can I. Somehow, the way he portrays his character, described so brilliantly by the Popgurls as “snarky hotness,” is just so much better than what the script originally called for.

In an interview with TJ Thyne, the Popgurls get a little closer to the heart of just who Hodgins really is on the show Bones. Covering topics from how he felt when he got the part (almost running off the road while driving) to the commercials he’s been in to really weird stuff like “if each of your co-stars… was in a tropical fishtank, what would they be,” TJ gives us a little better glimpse of himself as well as what makes him, and therefore his character, tick.

Check it out – you won’t be disappointed.

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones” Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints” at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
