One of 2006’s Hottest Actors!

by

davidborea.jpgIs anyone really surprised to see that David Boreanaz was nominated as one of 2006’s Hottest Actors? Nah, I didn’t think so either.

TV.com notes that David has been “making hearts throb for years – and that is so true. I fell in love with him in Buffy and followed him on through his years in LA as he stared in his own show Angel. I almost cried when they cancelled it, but I suppose it’s always best to go out on top.

I’ve been dismally disappointed to see the sad lack of Boreanaz on my TV, and was overjoyed to see him reappear as Agent Seeley Booth in Bones. And when your costars love you this much, it really says something about you. TV.com quotes Emily Deschanel as saying:

(about David) David is a stand-up guy. This was my first season on my first series, and sometimes I was overwhelmed. One time I burst into tears, David took me outside and asked, “What’s going on with you?” and then really listened to my answer. He’s a wonderful friend. At the same time, he’s the first person to put a whoopee cushion on someone’s chair. He’s also the first to drop his pants. On our Christmas episode, everyone had to drop their pants on camera, and David was so happy. He spends a lot of time with his son, Jaden. At his last birthday party, David got him a bouncy castle, and I noticed that Jaden just had to take off his clothes in the castle. Like father, like son, I guess.

There’s really nothing to add to that. Don’t you just wish you knew him in person?!

About Watching Bones

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
