Recap: The Man in the Mansion

Don’t know about you, but I was not disappointed in tonight’s episode! It sure didn’t take long for Bones and Sully to pursue their relationship!
In tonight’s episode we saw a little more of Hodgins’ past when the victim the squints were investigating turned out to be an old friend of his - and his past fiancé’s husband. Determined to stay on the case to try to help his old friends, Hodgins hid evidence of his relationship with the victim and continued on the case.
In the meantime, Bones gets advice from Angela about her budding relationship with Sully since he hasn’t “made a move” on her in the 4 dates they’ve had. After agreeing to be the girl and let him work to impress her, she comes to the conclusion that she may need to make the first move after all.
Booth is still meeting with his therapist, although he refuses to admit he’s in counseling. Grudgingly, he takes a cue from his therapist and pursues the thought that maybe the murder they’re investigating wasn’t drug related and could possibly be spouse-related. In following this line of thinking, he finds out about Hodgins’ past relationship with the family and reams him out for his deception.
The case goes to trial and turns out it was drug related, but Hodgins’ involvement almost costs them the case. He turns in his resignation and the squints have to come up with new evidence that supports their case that Hodgins didn’t have any part in coming up with. Of course, you know they pull through, and they win the case, putting the murderer in jail, which ends up saving Hodgins his job.
Bones decides to go ahead and make the first move, and comes back into work the next day to share her sex news (very openly) with Angela and Booth - who promptly decides that he needs a more outrageous tie to help him cope with the day!
