Season 4 actually season 3.2?

by

In this two-part interview with Whitney Pastorek at EW talks with David Boreanaz at Comic Con. I love the spin he puts on Season 3 - how it didn’t really get the justice it deserved due to the writer’s strike, so now that we’re in Season 4, maybe it isn’t really a full “season 4″ but more of a “season 3.2″! He also talks about being at Comic Con - something I dream of one day attending… He talks about how the event has changed over the years from when he first attended years ago in 1997 for his appearance with Angel. He compares Comic Con to a car show - an interesting way to look at it, but very accurate I’m sure - that there are all kinds of cars, all kinds of colors, shapes, sizes, etc - that people are showing off. And he’s a car, pimping his wheels!

In part 2 of the interview, he addresses the difference in a Buffy/Angel fan and a Bones fan. He talks about how supportive his fans have been as he has made the transition from the one genre to the next. Then he gets into more Bones talk, and of course talks about the character-driven aspect of the show. He does give us a little hope that we’ll see more interaction of how Booth and Bones do and don’t take care of each other, as well as a sneak peak at a storyline idea he pitched to Hart Hanson - one that would be really great to see them pick up and use! There’s also the question of a “fantasy world” for the show - something to address the “what if’s” of the show.

Oh, and guess what David admits to being the biggest “geek” for - other than the Philly hockey that is? Watch and find out!

About Watching Bones

Who doesn’t love forensic anthropology? Okay, so maybe not, but throw in David Boreanaz and an FBI agent and former sniper along with Emily Deschanel as anthropologist-by-day and best selling author-by-night, as well as other awesome cast members TJ Thyne, Micheala Conlin, Tamara Taylor, and Eric Millegan, and you’ve got a mix for an awesome show. That’s just what you get with Bones. A crime drama that has great wit, great writing, and obviously a great cast; Deschanel’s character Temperance “Bones Brennan is socially illiterate, although brilliant, and balances out Boreanaz’s character Agent Seeley Booth as they work together to solve sometimes years-old murders. Backed by the “squints at the Jeffersonian Museum, this team is unstoppable, but it’s the people and the relationships that really make the show. Don’t miss a minute of it!
