Spielberg’s connection to Bones
How interesting… I hadn’t made any connection before about Steven Spielberg’s stepdaughter and Bones until a friend of mine pointed it out. Mostly because of the “step” part and the fact that her last name doesn’t ring any bells by itself.
Jessica Capshaw has had a recurring role in Bones as Rebecca Stinson. If you don’t recongize the name, I’m sure you do know the person. She plays Booth’s son’s (Parker) mother. Also interestingly enough, she’s played opposite David Boreanaz before.
In 2001 there was a decent little horror movie that came out that didn’t ever really make it big - I wonder if you’ve heard of it? It was called Valentine, and Boreanaz starred in it as Adam Carr, while Capshaw plays Dorothy Wheeler. While I won’t give you all the details, it’s not a bad movie - just never made a name for itself. And if you’re a Boreanaz fan, it’s worth seeing.
And who knows, like I keep referring back to, with the promise of more info on Booth’s background, maybe we’ll find out more about her and her relationship with Booth later?
*Spoiler for the movie Valentine* Let’s hope things for Capshaw turn out better than they did for her in Valentine. You know it’s probably not going to end well when you receive a Valentine that reads: “Roses are red, Violets are Blue, They’ll need dental records to identify you.”
