TeenTelevision interviews David Boreanaz
I always love hearing what the cast has to say about their show. Of course you know that for the most part, their interviews are going to be nothing but good about the show itself, and you probably aren’t going to get any real spoilers out of them – they don’t want to give too much away. But to see their take on their characters and the character dynamics is interesting.
And, every now and then you do get a little glimpse of what’s to come… In an interview with TeenTelevision, David Boreanaz talked about Bones and he did tell us a little of what to expect in the coming episodes.
TeenTelevision: What kinds of issues does Booth have?
David: I don’t know, a lot! We’ve just scratched the surface. I’m getting’ all messed up, man. There’s going to be some way out stuff that’s coming. I can’t even imagine where we can go and it’s great. To be allowed to do that is fantastic.
David also talks about the work he and Emily put into their characters to make them who they are, and how that adds to the emotion and relationships in the show. Once again we see the emphasis on the relationships over the procedural aspect of a crime show – guess that’s a pretty important thing to these guys…
One last thing about this interview that I thought was worth noting – David reveals that one of his childhood celebrity crushes growing up was Dorothy Hamill. Ring any bells for those of you who followed David in his Buffy days? If you remember, Buffy was a big fan of Dorothy Hamill – she even had the “Dorothy Hamill? haircut, and did some ice skating herself. Kind of funny if you ask me!
